NSF PolarSTEAM Deliverables: Xeitl’ Sit Exhibit

As part of my 2025/2026 PolarSTEAM Educator Fellow deliverables, I developed a temporary exhibition based on the work of Oregon State University’s Dr. Jesse Cusack and a 2025 field campaign to Xeitl’ Sit (Leconte Glacier) in southeast Alaska. Timeline from fieldwork to exhibit opening was less than six months.

Over 16,000 people saw the exhibition, which will now begin traveling to other institutions.
